Here are the top three stories from today in Strongsville:
- The new state senate district map has Strongsville in the 24th district. Some voters would be unsure which state Senate district they are in due to the new map being used for the first time. - The Cuyahoga County Jail Administrator and the County Public Works Facilities Management Team have released their wish lists for the new jail project. The administratorâs list includes a large exit port, large intake area, upper floor netting to prevent falls, garage doors, built-in recreation areas, four-person cells, time-out areas, a central control room, state-of-the-art equipment, a large training room, employee locker space and an employee lunch room. The list of public works is almost the same but with additional infrastructure improvements. (Cleveland.com)
- The Strongsville Community Business Expo will take place on October 12. The popular event will take place at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center on Royalton Road between 5 and 7:30 p.m. The event will feature over 100 local businesses and their products. Special guest will be Bill Wills from WTAM 1100 Radio. (Town of Strongsville)
