Centerville acquires more Uptown land in the entertainment district

“Valet parking near high-end restaurants will create a safer and more convenient neighborhood,” he added.

The two properties the city purchased are in the state-approved 113-acre Entertainment District earlier this year. However, the land at the back of the lot at 98 W. Franklin where parking is being considered is not part of the district, Centerville communications director Kate Bostdorff said.

The entertainment district’s designation allows for an additional 15 liquor licenses, which Centerville officials say is key to attracting more restaurants and businesses.
