Democrats resent the madness of district attorneys linked to George Soros

It’s no secret that billionaire George Soros has thrown millions of dollars into district attorney races across the country, intent on getting some of his socialist ideas into local communities – especially , to reform the justice system so that the criminals are free and the victims, well, the victims are then victimized again and again.

But what’s new is that Democrats are starting to feel the effects of this kind of far-left “Let the looters be looters and looters” type of justice system.

The Democrats become the victims. And they don’t like it — no, they don’t like it at all.

Take San Franciscans, where the liberals are prominent.

“In San Francisco, Democrats are at war on crime,” wrote the New York Times in a recent headline.

The story concerned the city’s left-wing district attorney, Chesa Boudin, who took office in January 2020 after raising “hundreds of thousands of dollars from donors associated with Soros”, as The Daily wrote. Signal, but currently under recall. Why?

“[H]This message of leniency for the perpetrators has upset city residents, many of whom feel unsafe and violated by property crimes,” the Times wrote.

No surprises.

Boudin once served as a public defender and translator for Hugo Chavez, Venezuela’s late socialist leader, and pledged during the campaign trail in San Francisco to implement cashless bail policies and lower rates. of incarceration – the latter, by simply closing his eyes. to certain crimes and criminals. But what to expect from someone whose parents who were card-carrying members of the Weather Underground, and after mom and dad were sent to prison, were later raised by the co-founders of the Weather Underground, n ‘is this not ?

So.

“Meet Chesa Boudin, the rogue prosecutor wreaking havoc in San Francisco,” the Heritage Foundation wrote in August 2021.

You get a local district attorney who thinks the death penalty is “racist” and that drug and property crimes are barely worth an arrest, let alone jail time.

“During Boudin’s first year in office, homicides rose 31%,” reported the Washington Examiner.

Hmm.

“In terms of property crime, the police department recently reported that vehicle burglaries have increased by 100% to 750% in parts of the city,” The Heritage Foundation reported.

Interesting.

“More people are having their cars stolen and their apartments broken into,” reported The Atlantic, while adding that “fewer people are having their bags stolen.”

But stay.

Even the Democrats are unhappy.

The criminals, it seems, don’t care whether their targets vote Republican or Democratic.

And for the Democrats who voted in this far-left piece, unqualified, that must be rather shocking, even heartbreaking.

From The Times: “As former chairwoman of the San Francisco Democratic Party, Mary Jung has a long list of bona fide liberals, including her early political days as a volunteer in Ohio for George McGovern’s presidential campaign. and her service on the board of directors of the local branch of Planned Parenthood.”In Cleveland, I was considered a communist,” she said.

After months of increasing crime, she has a change of heart.

“[T]The misery and petty crime she sees as crescendo on some city streets – her office has been broken into four times during the coronavirus pandemic – have tested her liberal outlook,” the paper continued. “[She] wondered what kind of town her granddaughter would grow up in.

She wonders if she will be “able to take him [granddaughter] in the stroller,” due to rising crime rates and growing fears in San Francisco.

Well, welcome to reality, Mrs. Jung.

That’s exactly what conservatives have been saying for years every time a ‘defund the police’ and ‘no-cash bail’ leftist comes along, denouncing supposedly ‘racist’ justice systems that actually incarcerate crooks. .

This is exactly what Republicans have been fighting for for years when feel-good liberals and uninformed leftists campaign for ingenious policies like open borders and Antifa takeover of city streets. .

“The people against Chesa Boudin,” wrote The Atlantic in a headline. The subtitle ? “San Franciscans don’t feel safe.”

The recall is therefore in full swing. And because many Democrats in this populous Democrat city are now in favor of a recall, there’s a good chance Boudin will in fact face forced impeachment.

“Chesa Boudin and the Limits of San Francisco Liberalism,” writes New York Magazine.

But here’s the thing: voters should have been smart enough to have seen where a guy like Boudin would run the criminal justice system in the first place. His past was quietly crying out for crime. His past screamed softly at the criminals.

So the conclusion can only be this: Democrats don’t care about crime until the criminals are on their doorstep.

And George Soros knows that, and that’s why he’s been so successful in buying off district attorneys in some places across the country.
