As the most recent member of the company’s leadership team, Aberman will be responsible for developing relationships with healthcare systems, hospitals, payers and other organizations focused on improving clinical outcomes and quality of life while reducing the cost of care for patients living with kidney disease. In addition, Aberman is participating in Dialyze Direct’s leading-edge efforts to improve the uptake of home hemodialysis among members of historically marginalized communities.

Aberman’s experience in the healthcare industry includes a nine-year tenure at Compassionate Care Hospice, which operated 53 sites in 22 states when it was acquired by Amedisys in 2019. He most recently served as Director of Relations with society’s post-acute care payers, a role that involved developing relationships and programs with insurance companies and health systems across the country. His previous roles at Compassionate Care Hospice included as Program Director for New York City, where he was responsible for overseeing hospice care services in the city, and Director of Business Development.
