As the newest member of the company’s leadership team, Aberman will be responsible for developing relationships with health systems, hospitals, payers and other organizations focused on improving clinical outcomes and quality of life while reducing the cost of care for patients living with kidney disease. Additionally, Aberman is participating in Dialyze Direct’s cutting-edge effort to improve the uptake of home hemodialysis among members of historically marginalized communities.

Aberman’s experience in the healthcare industry includes a nine-year tenure at Compassionate Care Hospice, which operated 53 sites in 22 states at the time of its acquisition by Amedisys in 2019. He most recently served as Director of Relationships with post-acute care payers, a role that involved developing relationships and programs with insurance companies and health systems across the country. His previous roles at Compassionate Care Hospice included Program Director of New York City, where he was responsible for overseeing hospice services in the city, and Director of Business Development.
